6pm to 12am. $40 per person, if paid for at the time
of team registration.

Drinks: Some nonalcoholic drink options are provided with dinner. For
drinkers of legal age, alcoholic drinks can be purchased individually
at the bar, or you may buy a drink wristband for $40 which grants access
to open bar for 4 hours at the banquet. The bar will stock a variety of
liquors, beer, and wine.
Tournament
Play
Divisions: Open and Mixed. The Mixed division has the requirement that
each team have at least 3 female players in the water at all times. Trophies
will be awarded to the top teams in each division. Round Robin play will
start at 9am Friday and continue on Saturday. Playoffs will be held Sunday.
Since we have only one playing surface, we will schedule play in blocks
so that each division plays either in the morning or the afternoon, leaving
the other half of the day for players to take advantage of the beach or
other nearby San Diego attractions (see below).
Pool
The Plunge, located right
on the beach next to the roller coaster in Mission Beach
The pool is 6ft deep with a fast tiled bottom.
In addition,
the pool requires that players use the front door to enter the
premises (but may leave by the glass doors in the pool area), do not block
any emergency exits with gear/themselves, eat only in the area behind
the low wall on the pool deck, and do not bring alcohol or glass containers
into the pool area.
Captains'
Meeting
The captains' meeting will be conducted via email in the week preceding
the tournament. Make sure at least one representative from your team has
sent an email to this address to be included in the list for that more
specific information.
Any communication,
questions, rsvps, etc can be sent to the committee at: pccs2007@gmail.com
San
Diego Attractions
The
Beach - Seriously,
it's less than a hundred yards from the pool. Try surfing, boogie boarding,
swimming, sand castles... you know how beaches work.
There are rides, a roller coaster, shops, etc. right next to the pool.
Wavehouse - Surf permanent waves in the same building as the
Plunge. They mentioned a deal for people in our group but we still need
to check into that.
